The secret to this beloved cocktail is to use juniper-forward gin and freshly grated nutmeg. In the Bahamas, Sky Juice, also known as Gully Wash to locals, is served with cracked conch or conch salad and works equally well with octopus ceviche, crab fritters or shrimp salad with jalapeño and mango.
- 4 cup London dry gin
- 4 cup Coconut water
- 14 oz Condensed milk
- 33/100 Fresh nutmeg pod
- Garnish: Grated nutmeg
Add the gin, coconut water and condensed milk into a pitcher and stir well.
Grate 1/3 of the fresh nutmeg pod over the top and stir again.
Shake each serving in a shaker.
Pour into a footed pilsner glass.
Top with freshly grated nutmeg to garnish.
