We make a dough from the above ingredients, mixing butter / margarine in turn with salt, sugar, baking powder, water, orange peel, walnuts and finally add flour. We spread the second sheet and cut the popcorn that we place over the filling.

Then put it in the oven heated to 175-180 degrees, for about 20 minutes. The popcorn on top should be lightly browned.

Allow to cool then powder with powdered sugar and serve.


Duck with oranges and apples

Duck with oranges and apples from: duck, chicken soup, oranges, apples, almonds, honey, liqueur, lemon, thyme, rosemary, allspice, starch, salt, pepper.

Ingredient:

Method of preparation:

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Wash, peel and seed the apples, cut them into cubes. Sprinkle with lemon juice.

Clean the core of two oranges and mix it with apples, ground almonds, thyme, rosemary, allspice, a pinch of salt and pepper.

Salt and pepper the cleaned duck, including the inside, fill it with the seasoned fruit mixture. Grow the duck under the wings and place it in the pan with your chest down. Pour over 200 ml of hot soup and bake for 90 minutes, sprinkling occasionally with the remaining soup.

Peel five oranges and slice them. Squeeze the remaining orange juice, turn the duck, add the orange slices, the squeezed juice, grease the skin with honey and put it in the oven for half an hour.

When it has acquired an appetizing color, take the duck out of the oven and set it aside, warm, for 15 minutes. Strain the sauce, removing the fat, and bring to the boil.

Add the liqueur and, to thicken the sauce, a teaspoon of starch. Bring it to a boil. Cut the duck and serve with orange slices and sauce.


Baskets with apple and orange

For 12 baskets we need:

Then put it in the hot oven at 175-180 degrees, for about 20 minutes. The popcorn on top should be lightly browned.

Let cool then powder with powdered sugar and serve with a large cup of orange tea.

Dear friends, today I am going to present you a cookie recipe, which I found today, flipping through a 1970 Spanish cookbook.

I found it interesting and I said to try it, and to make some changes to make it simpler to my taste and yours, I hope.

I tried to give up the large amount of sugar and margarine, putting much smaller amounts.

This recipe for coconut and raisin biscuits is delicious and a good snack for anyone to prepare.

  • half a cup of coconut
  • about 2 fingers of butter if you cut from a package of 250 g butter
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar (or normal)
  • half a cup of cow's milk (almonds or soy)
  • 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
  • grated peel from an orange and a lemon
  • flour (about a cup and a half)
  • a cup of raisins
  • a baking powder

How to prepare

1. Add coconut, milk, baking powder, butter, sugar and vanilla sugar, lemon peel and orange and mix well.

2. Add the flour as long as it doesn't stick to your hand, then add the raisins.
