Garnish with pieces of chocolate or small currant berries from jam, or colored candies.

8 simple desserts you should try

Come on, admit it! You spend at least as much time in the kitchen as I do during this time. And I'm not referring to the fact that you've moved your office into the kitchen since isolation, but to the fact that we've all found and rediscovered that joy of escaping, relaxing, and expressing our joy. Because I kept posting on social media different pictures with the "creations" in the kitchen and people were asking me about recipes, I gathered on the blog today some simple and delicious dessert ideas, which you can do too. But I warn you from the beginning of an extremely important thing: I do not cook according to recipes and I do not measure. I rarely make a dish the same way twice, because I like to experience something different every time. Not to mention that I love to combine ingredients and see what comes out.

And because they don't have a name, I thought of doing their "baptism" today as well, to make the job even more enjoyable, because it's definitely delicious!

Super Duper Love

(Biscuit dough cake with mascarpone cream and baked apples)

Biscuit dough is one of our favorites. Not only is it extremely simple, but it also tastes great. Mascarpone cream can be replaced with any type of cream if you do not have mascarpone. And apples, not to mention… you can put on top any fruit you want, in any shape that suits you, from raw pieces of kiwi, to slices of pineapple from compote or even jam and jam.

Depending on how much you want to get out, crush some biscuits, simple or flavored, in a blender or by hand. Add milk to soften and mix. The last step is to add butter at room temperature. Don't put too much butter, because mascarpone is quite creamy and buttery and you don't want a predominant butter taste, right?

After mixing the biscuit dough well, put it in the fridge, covered with foil, for about 10-15 minutes. In the meantime, prepare the second layer of cake! Put in a bowl the contents of a box of mascarpone (or more, depending on how much you want to come out), add essences (can be the classic rum and vanilla) and some vanilla sugar and mix well.

If you want apples topped on top, like I did, start with apples! Wash them, cut them into pieces, put them in a pan with butter and oil, add sugar, lemon juice and essences and leave them on the fire, stirring from time to time, until they reach the shape you want.

At the end, whip the cake: put a layer of biscuit dough, add a layer of mascarpone cream and pour the fruit on top.

Easter recipe: Cookies with colored candies

A challenge for you and a delicacy for the little ones, on the occasion of Easter.

If you want to try your skill in the art of sweets or you just need to train your already acquired knowledge, then the recipe for cookies with colored candies is what you are looking for.

Ingredients for cookies with colored candies:

-1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

-115 gr of vanilla fondant dough bought

-130 gr of colored candies.

Method of preparation:

Beat the butter and sugar with a kitchen mixer until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix again at low speed, cleaning the edges of the bowl whenever needed.

In another bowl mix the flour and salt. Add the butter and egg mixture. Mix at low speed until a dough is formed. If the dough remains crumbly, you can add a tablespoon of cold water while stirring, until a ball of dough forms.

Take a tray and line it with baking paper. The dough is placed on a sheet of waxed paper and covered with another sheet, then spread in a thin sheet. Transfer with paper to a tray and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Take the sheet on top of the dough and stretch it once more to thin it. Cut into egg shapes and transfer to a tray lined with baking paper and then put back in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Put the tray in the oven for 12-15 minutes. Leave to cool in the oven for 5 minutes, then transfer to a kitchen grill.

For the decorative part, spread the fondant sheet and cut half of the egg, using the same shape from the dough. • 1 cup of golden raisins
